Sada Ghode, who has helped in the research and documentation of Baba's life history, tells us how a young labourer was involved in a horrific accident and was miraculously saved by Baba's grace. The incident happened during the renovation of Sai Korhale temple, where Baba's Padukas have been installed and consecrated. The worker fell from a height and landed on iron rods, one of which impaled him and would have caused certain death had it touched a major vein, but by some inexplicable miracle, the rod had made a 90 degree turn away from the location of the vein, giving the boy a chance to live. Sadaji also recounts a couple of incidents during the renovation of the Sai Korhale temple, in which he himself strongly felt Baba's presence and protection.
